Before proceeding, a word about the Update Tool. Cakewalk has updated the Update Tool so it no longer supports CW's older VST instruments. That means you will not be able to use your older CW VST instruments in the Sonar version of CW 14. However, if you wish to use them, you can add them to the CW 14 version of Sonar. Follow the instructions in the Sonar Help page. Now, let's get started with Melodyne.

When the Melodyne Activation Assistant is complete, the next step is to download the new VST instruments/plugins and/or the required instrument and plug-in updates. You have the option to do this manually or by using the Sonar Update Tool.

If you have an older version of Cakewalk Sonar (e.g., version 8.0 or earlier) the Melodyne plug-in does not support it. You can, however, install the standard version of Melodyne 6.1.3 (bundled with Cakewalk Sonar 8.3.2) and then upgrade to the 7.2.2 version once you have Cakewalk Sonar version 8.3.2 or later installed.

The Melodyne plug-in for Sonar supports two versions of Melodyne, the standard version (Melodyne 6 or later) and the advanced version (Melodyne 7 or later). In general, the advanced version is only available on newer operating systems. However, Cakewalk did a great thing by allowing you to use the most recent version of Melodyne with the Music Software Suite.

I am running a PC with Windows 7 and Adobe Photoshop CS6. I am wondering how to end the trial period and convert to a full copy of Photoshop CS6. I tried closing down Photoshop, which produced a message telling me to return the disk. I did that, but the same message returned. How can I end this?
