Several reviewers re-watched Star Trek: The Next Generation after the end of the series. Keith DeCandido for Tor.com described the episode as \"a nasty episode that doesn't quite cohere into the level of nasty it could\" but that the series \"doesn't do horror/action all that often, and it serves as a good change of pace if nothing else\".[6] He gave \"Conspiracy\" a score of four out of ten.[6] Zack Handlen of The A.V. Club, thought that while \"Conspiracy\" was a \"hard episode to forget\", it was not quite as good as he remembered and did not quite \"fit\" with the rest of the season. He thought that certain parts of the plot were \"idiotic\" and the admirals reminded him of a \"Bond villain convention\".[10] He gave the episode an overall grade of B, writing, \"fingers crossed that next time we encounter a danger this sinister, the writers know how to handle it\".[10]
In the episode of That '70s Show titled \"A New Hope\", the guys all go to the movies to see the classic Star Wars movie and are all blown away by it. Red, who is Eric's dad and his boss, asks Eric to hang out with his boss' son who he hasn't seen since he was just an awkward kid, but has now grown into a good-looking young man and is also interested in reading Donna's short stories. Meanwhile, Laurie, who is Eric's sister, starts flirting with Kelso out of boredom.
Kitty thinks that it would be a good idea if Red and Eric become friends. She forces Eric to invite Red to go with the gang to a wrestling event in Kenosha. Bob tags along and seeks help from Fez and Hyde over Midge's decision to start therapy. And Jackie is super nice to Kelso now that they've done the deed.
I'm sorry I didn't speak up when things were getting hard. I'm sorry I was angry. I'm sorry I took it out on you. I feel my mind going. My emotions and my memories are being ripped away one by one, but I'll hold on for as long as I can. And I will try to remember that I love you. I will try to remember that we raised a good son. But I'll try, and I'm sorry it's too late. I'm sorry it's not enough. I love you so much. Protect our son.
Saki and Arisa accompany Tohru on her first date with Kyo. At the end of the date, when Tohru is away to the washing room, Saki is sad, expressing that Kyo is taking Tohru away from her. However, she immediately patches up the rough situation by comically telling Kyo that she will forgive him, but only if he calls her \"Mama\" and lets her take care of his adoptive father, Kazuma Sohma. Despite her words, Saki and Arisa express that they do like Kyo as a person, and are now relying on him to take good care of Tohru.[5]
Saki has an electromagnetic power that allows her to sense the good and evil in people as well as the ability to see their auras. Simply put, she can read people's thoughts by picking up their mental waves. Saki calls her powers for \"electrical waves\". She explains to Kyo that she has psychic powers, and not spiritual powers, and can henceforth not see occult things such as ghosts. She does mention that dead people do have waves, but that they are much weaker than the waves of the living, so they are almost unrecognizable. She also explains that \"waves\" are people's thoughts that present like words that come directly to the brain rather than the ear.[10]
Saki is exceptionally good at playing cards, especially the game \"Rich man-Poor man\". According to her male classmates and the Sohmas, Saki is unbeatable, always gets good cards, which she plays in her favor as she always ends up winning.
Kazuma is an incredibly wise and level-headed, yet friendly and polite man who is willing to take risks and make sacrifices to achieve the greater good. However, because of this, Kazuma has a slightly low view om himself; as he deems himself a selfish person who ignores other's will and pushes his one-sided feelings onto people such as Kyo.[2][3] Despite that, he is an emphasizing and supportive person, especially evident by the fact that he is so well-loved by Kyo. He has also displayed his wisdom to Kyo and the rest of the Sohma family many times; Kyo, in particular, takes Kazuma's words to heart and lets them guide him in life.[4] Kazuma is also shown to be fearless as he was completely determined to keep Kyo from meeting the same lonely fate his grandfather faced and give him a happy life, even if it meant he would defy the rest of the family, including Akito Sohma, who most people in the family fears.[3][5] On the other hand, even though he is educated, Kazuma is quite clumsy and air-headed, as his day-to-day skills are very weak. He is horrible at cooking, but he somehow gets the idea that he can do it.[5]
Kazuma later leaves the house with Tohru without saying his goodbyes to Kyo. He confesses to her that he initially took Kyo in as atonement for the horrible things he said in his only meeting with his grandfather, though he eventually grew to love Kyo as his son. However, Kazuma confides in Tohru that he still feels bad for what he had done, as he feels like he always apparently pushes him one-sided feelings upon Kyo and imposes his ego on him. He instead gives Tohru his thanks for \"saving\" Kyo in the circumstances he created, but Tohru says otherwise; that Kazuma truly is a father. Kyo eventually manages to catch up to the pair, and apologizes for all the trouble he has caused for Kazuma. However, he also tells Kazuma that he will grow into a strong man who will be worthy of calling Kazuma his father. This overjoys Kazuma, and he reaffirms that Kyo is his \"high maintenance son\", and they firmly reconcile their relationship.[3]
Kazuma's grandson, Hajime Sohma, mentions that even though Kyo hasn't taken over the dojo yet, Kazuma is in good health and still runs his dojo as usual. Hajime also loves Kazuma and states that he is his one and only grandfather.[13]
Kazuma and Saki get along well. While Kazuma only views Saki as Kyo's classmate and is grateful to her for being friends with Kyo, Saki has a crush on Kazuma which she acts on. Saki regularly converses with Kazuma, teases Kyo regarding her crush on Kazuma, and on a few occasions she even visit his home without Kyo, which Kazuma particularly doesn't mind. Kyo deduces that they are not only friends but good friends. Towards the end of the series, Saki lands a job at Kazuma's dojo which he happily accepts, but a romantic relationship between them does not ensue.[12] 59ce067264
