We are going to start of with this one because, this has to be one of the best anime for 2020/2021. This story follows a student named Yuuji Itadori. Yuji is shown to have natural in-human physical capabilities in the beginning of the show. He gets dragged into a legit super natural life after he saves his friend. This show has really good pacing and great character devolvement. Animation is absolute top tier with being a new gen Anime. i gave it a 9.5 due to the 5th place show ill explain when I get there.

2. The Time I Got Reincarnated as a slime

I am a isekai Fanboy, so i love watching any isekai. This one in fast straight fire though. Do not let the corny name fool you. That being said, this in fact about a dude that got reincarnated as a basic slime, He is just a gooey blob that spawns next to a mighty Dragon that is trapped in a prison of some sort and becomes his friend. He slowly becomes stronger as he learns more about the world he has reincarnated into. He finally gets to a village of goblins. He becomes a leader to these goblins. As he is now the leader, he has to protect his village. Without too much spoilage the story progresses with him growing and protecting his Home. This Anime has some of the best written characters, and intense scenes.

3. Haikyu!!!

This is a a sports Anime, but is by far the BEST sports anime out so far. It is about a kid that never wants to lose or come off the court in Volleyball, and his competitive rival! This is for more then the sports fans or athletes. This has incredible story and character progression. The best part is that it doesn't go the way you expect it to all the time either. Sports anime gets a bad rep all the time but this is definitely worth a watch.

4. Demon Slayer

This Anime is carried into the Top 5 due to music and animation. If you want something amazing to watch and pleasing to listen to, then this anime is what I recommend the most. It is about a kid that goes through a tragedy when his young and out alone one day. This event then changes the path of his life, and he becomes a demon slayer with the ultimate goal of saving and protecting his family. The characters are good, but ultimately it is carried by the visuals and sounds in this anime.

5. Arcane

This is not your traditional anime, but it is still an instant classic. This is based off of the Game called League of Legends, but it is not only for gamers or even purely anime watchers. Many of my non anime watchers friends have watched this show and they all loved it. You could not show me a person that hated this show. It is about these sisters that live in poverty due to the place they were born in. As Powder and Vi grow up, they try to make their own way and survive the cruel situation they get themselves into. The pacing is absolutely amazing in this show. I recommend this show to literally anyone.
